Hursey, coaches, Walt Cepela, manager. Varsity Basketball, 1974-1975 The Varsity Basketball team gave MHS a tying-best season I8 wins and 5 losses. They advanced in the tournaments until we lost a close game to Saginaw High. There were seven seniors on this year's team. They all contributed to the out- standing effort ofthe team. Art Adan: Led in assist and steals, All-Valley honorable mention as a senior John Alfano: First year on Varsity, excellent outside shooter Terry Brady: Second highest school record for career points, 7l2: shot over 5092 from the floor: as a senior, first team All- Valley. ,lay Hop: Averages ll pts. a game, 308 pts., career: honorable mention, All-Valley, senior. Kris Smith: Honorable mention, All-Valley, senior, 224 senior rebounds this year, IO rebounds per game average.
