GCE This year's graduating class is the first to complete three full years of study in the new high school. Now seems to be the proper time to express appreciation to the community of Midland for providing this school. To show our gratitude, the cover of the 1959 CHEMIC was designed to symbolize Midland. The wide, white section, rising from the lower right to form a spire, represents beginning educa- tion, prospering industry, and, above all, the faith to be found in Midland's beautiful places of worship.
