Their continued enthusi- asm will help provide the expertise necessary for an even finer 1979 yearbook.

Candidates are chosen from those maintaining a cumulative grade point average of a B by the administration and fac- ulty. The purpose of the group is to honor iuniors and seniors who have met or exceeded the qualifi- cations of leadership, character, service, and scholarship. Mrs. Antons chaperoned the group on a social outing to Cedar Rapids. highlighting the year for members. The council, un- der advisors Mr. Smith and Mr. Lust, planned homecoming festivities. They also of- fered Sl00 to each class to spend on interim for fees and other expenses incurred. At the end of the year, Presi- dent Sandy Ireland presented a bouquet of flowers to Mr. Lust in appreciation for his work with them over the year.
