Members help in the elementary classrooms for practical experience in the teaching profession. Members schedule a college night at Kirkwood, invite guest spea- kers to their monthly meet- ings, and also find time for social activities, such as a picnic at the end of the year. Candidates are chosen from those maintaining a cumulative grade point average of a B by the administration and fac- ulty. The purpose of the group is to honor iuniors and seniors who have met or exceeded the qualifi- cations of leadership, character, service, and scholarship.
