A football player, a songbird, and one of the best sports in the Class of '47. --From the Treasure Chest of 1947. Called into service September 1950. Killed in action in Korea April 24, 1951, only sixteen days after arriving in Korea. A member of the 25th Infantry Division's 35th Regiment.
