We wish to thank them for their co-operation and helpful suggestions this year. They did an excellent job when helping sell ads. We wish them many problem-free days of successful work in 1954-55. THE SENIOR ANNUAL STAFF The great minds of our day are continually searching for ways and means to improve the standards of mankind and make his efforts of greater consequence. Among the many traits and essentials upon which all thinking people are agreed, co-operation and dili- gence to the task at hand are perhaps predominant. This publication exemplifies and embodies to the fullest extent the results of just and consistent labor. It bespeaks progress and growth for all those who have given of their time and efforts that we may have a condensed record of the events of our school year. The requirements and complexities of education are rapidly growing and our responsi- bilities to posterity and society are ever on the increase. This yearbook and the activi- ties it portrays are concrete evidence that those in command are ever mindful and desirous of doing every job well. We are deeply grateful to those who have made it possible and may it serve as a challenge and inspiration to those into whose hands the responsibility will fall in later years. Our congratulations and sincere appreciation for a job well done. W.M. Lewis BLANCH McKAY B. S., University of Alabama; Senior III Sponsor; Mathematics.
