Dedication On January 15, 1922 a boy was born. This boy grew to be a man we ail know. He may not be known by name, but anyone who has set foot in Midlakes High School has seen his face. 1 his man lives with his wife in Clifton Springs, a community he has served for many years. Before being hired by the Clifton Springs School District as a bus driver, he and his wife owned and operated a store in the village. Since those years, he has become the head custodian at Midlakes. He is the man who has kept our school in the beautiful condition it has been since opening ten years ago. He is the man behind the scenes who has kept the school running smoothly and deserves so much, yet receives so little. He has much pride in his job, and with good reason. Midlakes High School is the finest school in the Finger Lakes Region, due greatly to Mr. Paul Wells. Because of this, Mr. Wells, both the 1980-81 Yearbook Staff and the whole district thanks you and we hereby dedicate Reflections '81 to you. Thank you, Mr. Wells.

Appreciation Mr. Howard In planning for this yearbook, two people were of a very special help to us. These people were not on our staff, yet they contributed just the same. Mr. Dan Howard, the Mechanical Drawing teacher, helped a great deal with the cover. One day at the beginning of the year, we went to Mr. Howard and asked for his help. He was more than glad to help. Mr. Howard drew the cover and made a few blueprint copies for us. Without his talent we couldn't have done it. To you, Mr. Howard, we say thanks. Mr. Keith Childs, former advisor of the yearbook, also deserves thanks. Many ideas and themes found in this book came from Mr. Childs. He was a great help when we started planning for the book in June, 1980. Mr. Childs, we thank you for your help and creativity. Through this page we hope to show our appreciation to these two men, Mr. Childs and Mr. Howard.
