The students of Midlakes regret the loss of one of their teachers of 20 years upon her retirement. Born and ■ompletion of her high school years, she ind later the Geneseo School Systems. In raised in Penn Yan, she graduated from Penn Yan Acader attended Keuka College. She began her teaching career at n'vdcfl 1945 she was married and returned to her native Penn Yan where she worked in the Academy Office. She returned to teaching in the city of Geneva Schools and a year later came to what was then the Phelps Central School District. A member of the business department of Midlakes High School, she has had the pleasure of being yearbook advisor, sophomore class advisor, which included the duty of organizing the annual Sopho- more Talent Show, and typist for many of the district plays and musical programs as well as for the “Phelps- Clifton Springs Central School News Letter.” Mrs. Niles, the students are sad to say goodbye, yet it is with much appreciation that we wish you a great deal of happiness in your retirement.
