Hi Diddle-dee-dee, an actor's life for mel - Walt Disney o the beat of the band, South's ac- tors marched tnumphantly through the gala production of Music Man . This charming musical set in a quaint mid-Western town in the early 1900's was vividly brought to life by director Laine Sutton and a cast of fine actors and actresses. An additionally fine job was done by the many people working on the lighting, make-up, and costume designers. South's pit band accom- panied the play with rhythm and spunk . Another form of theatre arts at South was the light and whimsical Childrens' Theatre . The acting was superb in the presentation of Hansel and Gretel . Those students not involved in the play entertained the elementary students as clowns before and after the perfor- mance. OPPOSITE PAGE - TOP - Patience and diligence used by the make-up staff involved in all theatre arts. BOTTOM LEFT - Final touches of age being placed on Tim Paradiso before Music Man .
