FIRE SQUAD When the fire alarm is sounded, Chief Fred Litka and his alert members of the Fire Squad hasten to their assigned posts, directing students and checking classrooms and other parts of the building. Under the supervision of Mr. C. V. Johnson, the squad is taught the importance of clearing the building in the shortest time possible and with the least confusion. This year for the first time since the squad was organized girls were allowed to join. Because of the co-operation and interest taken by its members, the Fire Squad has become one of the most important and efficient functions of the school.
