Besides providing sufficient huildings and equipment and lceeping' us supplied with an ade- quate numher of Well trained teach- ers, they must also malce sure that We have funds necessary to linance the operation, of the schools. There is also the taslc of appraising the achieve- ment and effectiveness of the school system in comparison to the stan.- dards set up hy the state, and lceep- ing the puhlic Well informed on the progress of the Middletown Schools.
