NORTH CAGERS LOOK IMPRESSIVE DESPITE LOSING SEASON This year's Middletown North basketball team had a disappointing season, however, twelve of their losses were within a spread of six points. Consequently they played much better than their record indicates, and they finished third in the A division in defense. This was Middletown North's first basketball season and Coach McCall did a tremendous job in putting the team together. Without his extreme dedication they would not have done as well as they did. With the help of Captain john Begley the team ran smoothly. Bill Schulz and Brian O'Neill joined john in becoming the first members of the 1000 pt. club. The other seniors on the team were Pete Bugni and Ron Butka.
