GIRL GYMNASTS SHOW OUTSTANDING TALENT FINISH 8-4 This year the team came out with an 8-4 record. The team tied with their rivals Middletown South for second place in the Shore Conference. The team was a well-rounded combination of talents with seniors, Sharon Perruso Ccapt.I, Nancy Van Driel and Samatha Gibb, as outstanding Ietterwomen. Also showing good potential were freshman letterwinners- Donna Donovan and juniors Darlene Fissler and Evelyn Fitzgerald. The team's coach, Mrs. Badcock will be looking forward to a strong team next year. 3-8 BOYS GYMNASTICS RECORD NOT INDICATIVE OF TEAM EFFORT I The 1976 season of Middletown North s Boys Gymnastics team was coached by Fred Bauch. The team finished with a 3-8 record. Although much of the team was comprised of relatively inexperienced gymnasts because of the North-South split, a competitive spirit was maintained throughout the season. Gymnastics is unlike other sports in that it is a year-round sport. In order to maintain good physical ability many of this years team members dedicated themselves to individ- ual workouts.
