CUSTODIANS Harl Bruce, Paul Hall, Harry Buss, Jr. and Raleigh Brock are the ousted custodians of Middletown Schools. Every morning, while we students are still sleeping these men are hard at work getting the buildings warm and ready for us. The editors wish to take this opportunity of expressing our appreciation for the many hours of hard work they put in to make us comfortable. BUS DRIVERS In the picture below you see Ernie Gullion, Bob Abshire, Loren Stanley, Bill Kirkpatrick, Howard Pullen. Johnny Craig, Claude Gustin, Ting Hess, and Vic Harry. These are the men who bring nearly four hundred -fifty students to the ' Middle town-Fall Creek consolidated schools each morning and take them home again after school. In addition to driving the buses these men maintain order, see that safety rules are enforced, wait for late sleepers, and see to it that every one arrives on time. Besides this the drivers usually give their riders a treat or a show at Christmas. Four hundred -fifty voices say, Thank You, Mr. Bus Drivers! schooVbus

COOKS No school in Indiana has better cooks than ours! Mrs. Katherine Hennis and Mrs. Effie Clem are re- sponsible for the delicious meals at Fairfield. At the high school Mrs. Carolyn Fattic and Mrs. Mar- tha Burr make lunch time a time to remember. Every Middletown student is grateful to these four women who day after day serve good hot meals in a friendly and cheerful way. MANY THANKS! MRS. CONN MRS. ST. JOHN Mrs. Mary Ann Conn and Mrs. Irene St. John are the two school secretaries. Mrs. Conn works at Fair- field School where in addition to her duties as Mr. Craw- ford ' s secretary she doubles as general helper to any- one who needs her. Mrs. Irene St. John is the High School ' s Girl Fri- day. She is the school nurse for all the schools as well as receptionist, treasurer, bookkeeper and friend-in - need to teachers and students at the high school.
