MRS. SUMNER Mrs. Sumner ' s all -boy trigonometry class this year began to prepare them- selves to become future engineers, chemists, businessmen, and machinists. The class was small and the opportunity of learning was great. In geometry Mrs. Sumner has taught the students to prove theorems using logical reasoning. Geometry, which helps the students improve their thinking ability, also helps prepare them for more advanced mathematics courses. Algebra is taught by Mrs. Sumner as are all other high school mathemati- ics courses. It is here that students learn the basic rules of mathematics.

Rick instructs these groups in marching routines, and coaches them for contests and concerts. He also teaches eighth grade music, and ele- mentary band. Mr. Seavers also selects and supervises the Majorette Corps.

J ' : i ' . ■M- ' .: Im -■Hi ? -| ' -A rill Mr. Mrs. Jameson Mr. and Mrs. Jameson are in charge of the Physical Education Program of M. H. S. Mrs. Jameson teaches Eighth Grade Science where the fundamentals of science are learned. She also teaches girl ' s physical education. In Phys-Ed class girls learn beneficial exercises as well as a variety of games and dances. Mrs. Jameson is also the sponsor of the Pep Club, which does such a marvelous job in supporting our basketball team. Under her supervision the Pep Club has grown to its present membership of eighty members. The girls of the Pep Club add beauty, fun, color and lots of pep to the basketball games. Mr. Jameson has been the basketball coach at Middleto Ti High School for the past fourteen years. During that time he has turned out many fine teams. The basketball fame of M.H.S. has made our Cossacks adversaries to be reckoned with by schools with much larger enrollment. ■ ' Von also teaches Phys-Ed , and Boy ' s Health Classes. In addition to coaching basketball, Mr. Jameson also coaches track.
