MRS. REEDY Venmring into Mrs. Reedy ' s room, one might hear a Macbeth crying Out, out brief candlel or he might hear someone reading a funny poem. Mrs. Reedy teaches junior and senior English as well as a class of speech and dra- matics. She directs the Junior and Senior Class plays, and is a co -sponsor of the Sophomore Class.

Business is booming is a phrase especially true at Middletown High School this year, as the thriving busi- ness department prepares students for positions in the CDmmunity. This year our new business teacher, Mrs. Wallace, had ninety-seven students enrolled in her four business courses . These popular courses were: Short- hand, Typing, General Busi- ness and Law. Although there are more girls enrolled in these courses than boys, it appears that the boys are steadily gaining interest in this field.

SsS Esai MRS. VAN CLEVE Anyone coming to the library not knowing what book he wants, finds Mrs. Van Cleve always able to find just the book suited to him . The library is a place for finding information as well as a place for borrowing books and maga- zines for pleasure and enjoyment. In addition to successfully managing the library, Mrs. Van Cleve teaches eighth grade and freshman English.
