MRS. BRADFORD AND MRS. RAY Mrs. Patricia Ray has taught in Middletown schools for three years. This year she teaches music and art at Fairfield and at Central. Mrs. Martha Brad- ford teaches Art at the High School, and a Home Economics class at Central. Mrs. Ray organized the Girl ' s Sextet, and this year has also organized a Boy ' s Choir at Central. These two capable teachers have done a great deal for our schools in the Fine Arts department.

Business is booming is a phrase especially true at Middletown High School this year, as the thriving busi- ness department prepares students for positions in the CDmmunity. This year our new business teacher, Mrs. Wallace, had ninety-seven students enrolled in her four business courses . These popular courses were: Short- hand, Typing, General Busi- ness and Law. Although there are more girls enrolled in these courses than boys, it appears that the boys are steadily gaining interest in this field.
