The predominately senior team was hampered by injuries to key personnel and by an outbreak of Hu which eliminated several games and postponed others. The high spot of the season was the 13-O upset victory over Curtis High School of Long Island. Quarterback Don Bergamo scored both touchdowns at the climax of scoring drives led by fullback Dave Petrozak, who re- ceived second team All-DUSO mention for his out- standing work. Dave was particularly effective, both offensively and defensively, against Port Jervis in the traditional Thanksgiving Day game. His outstanding individual performance helped compensate for the de- feat. The boys chosen by the team to serve as their co-captains were quarterback Bergamo and end Dick Lundgren. 90
