Linda De Lic-to, STUDE T CGUNCIL HE Student Council exists for the benefit of the students of MHS. The Miss MHS contest, the Fun Fest, the Bonfire Rally, the Helping Hand Drive, Fresh- men Orientation, the MHS jukebox-these are only a few of its more important activities and services. Despite the unfortunate loss of its friend and advisor, Miss Thayer, the Council, guided by Dr. Rogers and Miss McQueen, continues to strive to maintain the high standards it has established. HOUSE OE REPRESENTATIVES HE House of Representatives, whose main function is to strengthen the relationship between the Stu- dent Council and the students of MHS, consists of the president of each homeroom. In its meetings, the rep- resentatives become acquainted with resolutions passed by the Student Council, and in turn inform their home- rooms. The projects in which the House of Representa- tices has participated this year include the Helping Hand Drive. the Rotary 4-Wtiy' Test. and the Student Council Fun lfest.
