The teather should he neither a methanital source of material to he memorized nor .1 silent overseer watthing his students wander aimlessly through .1 textbook. He should in- stead, he a guide, directing his pupils and providing them with the fruits of his knowl- edge and experiente, yet allowing them to exercise their own treative ahilities. So it is that we owe to the tiatulty ol' MHS a heavy debt ot' gratitude for the growth which these past tour years have seen, both in the hreadth of our knowledge and in the ability to use that knowledge creatively.
