Middletown Unified School District Board of Trustees LEFT TO RIGHT: Mr. de Montigny, Mrs. Comstock, Mr. Darby, Mr. Frates, Mr. Bell. The school year of 1962-63 has been a period of advancement and attainment for the Middletown Unified School District. We have seen our dreams of a beautiful new high school realized. At times, it did not seem possible the school would ever grow beyond the planning stage. Due to the hard work put forth by our administrator, Otto Sempell, with a large degree of cooperation from parents, students, and the community itself, the new plant was finished not too long after the beginning of the school term which began September 24. The board wishes to extend to the faculty and students a hearty note of thanks for a job well done. We, the members of the board, feel sure that the students who have the privilege of attending this fine school will, in years to come, look back to their school days with real pride. May we of the Board of Trustees once again say Thank you and God bless each and every one of you as you go forth to combat the world, that you may be better citizens from your daily contact with the people of the Middletown schools who have guided and counseled you as you progressed from freshmen to graduating seniors.
