They Have Fun, Too! The teachers help to keep our spirits high. The teachers at MHS are not all work and no play, however. Even though the work can be hard and frustrating for teachers as well as for students, it is easy to tell that most of the teachers here really enjoy being at Middletown High School. Teachers are friendly toward the students (as long as the students are doing what they should) and many teachers can be counted on to tell a joke or two to break the tension of the classwork. Many students have a special teacher or two that they can always count on for a little help or good advice when they’re feeling down or having trouble, and who they know will be glad to share the happiness when things finally go right.
