Stickin’ It To ’Em Juniors give the other classes a run for their money. The Class of '89 is stickin’ it to ’em, and giving the other classes a run for their money. Spirit Week had the Junior Class written all over it (at least in the opinion of the Juniors.) The extra effort put forth by the Juniors was an extraordinary statement that proves they’ve got “Spirit” Extra hours were put into making signs of all colors, shapes, and sizes. All week the Juniors had a great participation level, and a great show of enthusiasm. The Juniors were also stickin' it to ’em in a different area. Their ceaseless trickery, and craftiness seemed to keep all odds in their favor. When the Junior Class was around the whole atmosphere seemed to be different. Although the Juniors have many talents, the Class of ’89 does have one major speciality, and if you’re an underclassman who has ever been “helped” by a Junior, you know what that is. When you were a Freshmen, who were the first to greet you, and to direct you to your next period class? The Juniors, of course. Did you get where you wanted to go? Well, maybe. So very early in your first high school year you learned that one day, a Junior may come up to you and offer assistance, but to BEWARE, because if it’s a Junior, you may wind up with more assistance than you wanted. Thanks to the Junior class, life in Middletown High School is never boring, and to the Class of ’89, that’s stickin’ it to ’em.” 36 Middletown High School Cavalier
