A Close Class They tried to work together, even when things got tough. After the 8th grade, every class finds itself tossed together in a new situation, trying to become not just the 9th grade, but the Freshman Class! This process involves things like growing more comfortable with each other by finding classes together and becoming friends with people with whom you thought you could never be friends. It’s no wonder that by the senior year those ninth graders have become a group of people who tend to feel more than just a little attached. By the time graduation came, they had worked together on many projects: they had created an image of their class, participated in four spirit weeks, built four floats, gone into pep rallies and cheered to win the spirit stick (and finally got it!) Without each other these four years just would not have been the same. They all remember times when they really needed somebody, and there was one of their class members, willing to give them a hand. The prom was definitely a group effort, and it would have been nothing had they not been able to share it with their friends. Of course, the most important thing that they did as a group was to graduate, and when June 6th finally arrived they were proud to say as a class, “We made it!
