The 1988 Cavalier Staff Editor-In-Chief — Peggy Scott Introduction — Peggy Scott People Editor - - Terri Garrett Lifestyles Editor — Kathy Garlic Senior Section — Terri Garrett Student Life Section — Nikki Shuler Underclass Section — Ginger Gardner Sports Section — Kathy Garlic Administration, Faculty Club Section — Kathy Garlic Staff Section — Mia Pierce Sr. Directory Section — Terri Garrett Advisor — David Sechler 204 Middletown High School Cavalier The 1988 Cavalier yearbook staff was originally to be made up of three former editors, four new editors, one advisor and one Apple e enhanced computer; however, due to scheduling the staff lost one new editor and due to a robber the staff lost the computer. But the staff stuck together to produce this book in spite of it all. We’re proud of the work we did. I would like to mention that it’s very difficult to put a yearbook together, and it doesn’t get done just in the class period we have every day. Many members of the staff often remained at school to work well into the night. It is this extra effort that makes a good staff, and that is what we had this year. Not only was a lot of work accomplished after school, but a lot of memories were made as well, because we were a staff of six cranky, screaming girls who loved creating the pages you have just seen . There are a few special thank-yous that I’d like to mention: One to Mr. Sechler for putting up with six cranky girls who all complained about croppers and all those other things we were forever screaming about. To my parents and the parents of all my editors for allowing us to spend so much time after school to meet our deadlines. To Lela Garrett for staying after all the time to help type Senior Directory forms and to help Terri and Nikki with redraws and copy. To my staff, thanks for sticking with it. You all did a great job, and thanks for not getting (or at least staying) mad at me for messing up your copy with red marks or for asking you to redraw pages. I hope you all stay on for next year. My last thanks is to the person who had to put up with all my complaining outside the yearbook room. He helped keep my head on straight, and for that I thank him with all my heart. Thanks Keith. +t Ail'? fidite CVlli
