My Thanks to MHS! It is with much pride that I present to you the 1987- 88 Cavalier. My staff and I hope you enjoy the yearbook this year, because as a staff, we put a lot of our time and love into it, and we are very proud of the results. about the 1988 dedicatee? Mrs. Yearsley adds spirit and spice! Every year the yearbook staff gets together in a small office to brainstorm about the person to whom we feel the yearbook should be dedicated. In keeping with this year’s theme, we were looking for someone who was very active at MHS, but who is usually so discreet about it that people tend to take his or her contribution for granted. Therefore we are proud to dedicate the 1988 Cavalier to Mrs. Betty Yearsley for her outstanding role as Cafeteria Manager and spirited citizen of MHS. Mrs. Yearsley has worked here for the last sixteen years and is now Cafeteria Manager Mrs.Yearsley oversees the ordering of food and the preparing of nutritional meals for the entire high school. Under Mrs. Yearsley's leadership, the cafeteria is always decorated for the holidays and every senior has a cap hung up in honor of the fact he or she is graduating. Mrs. Yearsley has always gone the extra mile for the people here at M.H.S. Therefore, Mrs. Yearsley, for your love and dedication, this one’s in honor of you. 14
