Our Advertisers Help Pay The Bill Without the support of our advertisers, the Cavalier just wouldn’t be the same. Most people who read the Cavalier have no idea how important the advertising section is to the book. Few readers realize that the total cost of publishing an issue of the Cavalier is just over $14,000, and that it all comes from the fund-raising efforts of the students in the yearbook course. Many students think that they are paying for the entire cost of the book and then some when they pay their $20-25.00 for their copy of the book. In fact, the money from the sale of the book accounts for only about half of the cost of publication. Without this support from individuals, MHS organizations and local businesses, the Cavalier would have drastically fewer pages and little, if any, color. So please, if you like the Cavalier, the next time you see one of our advertisers, say “Thanks!” for us.
