Spanish Club Studying a foreign culture. Students in Spanish classes were greeted by Mrs. Singleton, the Spanish teacher at MHS. The first year Spanish students got a firm foundation in the basic vocabulary and general lifestyles of Hispanic people. The second-year students studied advanced grammar and built on what they learned in their first year. The third-year students studied the history of Mexico and read short stories to increase their knowledge. The yearbook editors and staff put more time and dedication into the book than any non yearbook person will ever understand. There is a class period set aside for this, but that is not nearly enough time to take care of all of the details that are nessary to have the book delivered by its due date. The editors spend many extra hours after school and on weekends to make this happen. When the book finally comes out and is delivered, though, it makes it all worthwhile. 146 Middletown High School Cavalier
