It Takes Dedication Members put much time and effort into their show. The Cavalier Marching Band members put much time, effort and dedication into perfecting their show and then performing it during football games and in band competitions. They marched in parades such as the St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York. During their visit to New York, the members of the band stayed with host families in the New York City area. They marched as part of a band called “Middletown, U.S.A.”, in which the towns of Middletown in New Jersey, Delaware, New York, and Pennsylvania play the same music and get routines together and perform them as one band. 134 Middletown High School Cavalier

They Help It Happen The band front adds life and enthusiasm to halftime. The band front adds so much life to the entire halftime show that it’s hard to picture the band without them. They are the finishing touch to the music, and they go with the band to the parades and competitions. They are under the leadership of Mr. Harris, with help from Cheri Ward from Redding. They have a scheduled class period to get their routines together, but they also stay after school with the band so that they can practice together.
