Penn sylvania. Gloss, 80 pound stock paper was used with black ink. Senior portraits were taken by John Wilson of Zamsky Studios In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Underclass photos were taken by Na tional School Studios. All group photos were taken by Bob Johnston of Zamsky Studios. Candids were taken by Bob Johnston and the Cavalier staff. FFA photos of their National Conference in Kansas City were supplied by the FFA. and Mr. Riblett supplied photos of the summer work program. The primary type style was Korinna. Division page headlines were set in 60 point. Headlines were set in 30 or 36 point, subheads in 18 point, body copy in 10 point, caption copy in 8 point and Senior Directory copy in 7 point. Theme lettering was Brush Script style set in 48 point. The basic cover color was Basin blue. The custom design was created by the Cavalier staff and featured silver foil hot stamped over a basic pattern which was silk screened in silver ink. The cover also featured silver lettering silk screened on the spine, and individ- ual name stamping was available as an option. The press run was 400 books with delivery scheduled for late May. The Cavalier sold for $17.00 until December 20, 1986, when the price was increased to $20.00. Upon arrival at Middletown High School, any books not previously reserved were sold for $25.00. Acknowledgments Each year the Cavafier staff pulls together the efforts of many people In order to produce a book of superior quality The staff appreciates all the cooperation and support received from the school and community, however there are a few who deserve special recognition for their outstanding efforts this year Richard Schrenker. our Jostens Yearbook representative who guided us through our design changes, the great senior portrait switch and countless other crises: Stephen Zamsky. who saved us much time and money by getting us our senior portraits on time and by helping us solve our ink spot problem. John Wilson, our senior portrait photographer from Zamsky Studios: Bob Johnston, student candids and group shots photographer and dedicated friend of the yearbook staff, who always came through in the clutch and who provided (yet another) element of unpredictability to our efforts. Mrs. Beverly File sky. copy proofreader and patient provider of updated school rosters, who saved us all the trouble that Andy Anderson would have caused. Mr Handlin and his stage crew, for their help in setting up the stage for group pictures and for senior and underclass portraits. Mr Ted McClain, for his original art work Mr David Sechler. our yearbook advisor, to whom we owe much appreciation and thanks for his overwhelming support and guidance.
