GREEN Teddy is another senior who is interested in music, He has taken the academic course and has done work in Dramatics 9 and 10, Tap dancing, Driver's Course, Dance Band, Student Council, the Junior Minstrel and the Senior Play, Teddy has been an active mem- ber of the Student Council for three years. FLORA ELIZABETH LAWS Betty takes the business course and hopes to enter Goldey Beacom College after graduation to be- come a secretary, Betty enjoys roller skating, writing letters and reading, She has been active in FHA, library club, Yearbook and Joumalism, Good Luck, Betty, in the years to come, VICTOR P, KOHL, IR. Vic, one of the top humorists of the class, likes to read and collect stamps, He is taking the academic course and plans to enter the teaching profession, He has been active in Band, Student Council, Dramatics, He took part in the Senior Play and Junior Minstrel, MARY AGNES LAWS Lawsie is enrolled in the General course and plans to become a sec- retary, Her free time is spent roller skating and horseback riding. She has been active in sports, tumbling and Dramatics, Lawsie will be remembered for her pleasing smile and her funny sense of humor, The class wishes Lawsie a successful future. ELAINE DORIS LABOUR Elaine, another academic student, has chosen a music career, She plans to study music and drama on the stage, after college. Elaine took part in dramatics, Junior Minstrel and the Senior Play, She has been a member of Yearbook '53, Elaine will be remembered for her beautiful voice, WILLIAM W. MANLOVE, IR. Bill is now taking the Academic course with the hope of becoming an aeronautical engineer, He has been active in Dramatics, Band and Sports His spare time is spent in working at the Post Office, His hobbies are eat- ing, sleeping, fishing and raising chickens, Bill also took part in the Senior Play and Junior Minstrel,

He takes the academic course and plans to enter the ministry. His hobbies are the piano and swimming, Good luck in your forth-coming ambition, Deak, JULIA ANN DeSHONG Judy is one of our more quiet students, She has been active in dramatics, Student Council, Senior Play and Junior Minstrel, Judy participated in sports on the I V team, She plans ro complete her academic course at the University of Delaware, majoring in English, She then hopes to become a journ- alist. ,A , f HERBERT TAYLOR ATKINSON Herb takes the vocational course and has been an active FFA leader acting as sentinel for three years and as secretary for one year, He is also an active member of the Delaware National Guard, We wish Herb success in his every endeavor, FREIDA DOLBY Freida takes the academic course and is planning to become a teach- er, She was active on the varsity hockey and basketball teams, Freida was entered in the county chorus and state vocal camp be- cause of her musical talent, She has also participated in Dramatics, Glee Club, Band and Chorus. EARL B, BIDDLE, JR, Snatch is interested in agriculture and is enrolled in the vocational course, His outside interests are farming and participating in farm activities, His hobby seems to be swimming.
