The aims of the Beta Club are to promote citizenship and cooperation; to reward effort and achievement; and to inspire honesty throughout our school and community. The activities of the Beta Club included a campaign to finance the trip to the State Beta Convention in Nashville. At the beginning of the year, an induction ceremony was held to acknowledge new members. The sponsor of our Club is Mr. Gene Ross. Back row: Steve McKinnie, Ronald Moore. The Library Club has been actively involved in the raising of funds to help purchase much needed audio-visual equipment and other materials for the school. The club’s twenty-two members have really gone out to make the library an asset to the students of MHS. Among the member’s duties are the shelving of books, helping students find books and the general maintenance of the room. The club culminated its year with a recreational and educational trip which will be the highlight of the year’s activities. Edith Sisco is hard at work!
