The path we followed through sunshine and shadow often wound its way through footpaths of discouragement, at times over rocks of mis- understanding and discord, along broad highways of happiness, and at last to the heights of success from which we view our goal - now very near. In the pages of this book are recorded the highlights of our journey. Here are the faces of our companions who shared the road with usg here are scenes and rnilestones,farni1iar and dear to each one of us,captured in all their youth and freshness, to remind us of the days we treasure. Turn the pages and relive the scenes of our pilgrimage with us. Previously, there was a Varsity Club consisting only of the boys who had won letters for athletic participation. In order to recognize the girls who receive letters, the Varsity Club was absorbed into the Monogram Club. This gave both the girls and the boys an opportunity to take part in the club's activities. Our club strives to uphold the ideals of spirit and sportsmanship and pro- tect the reputation of the schools in athletic events. Other functions of this club are to award letters to the athletes, who have earned them, improve existing facilities, and award the outstanding boy and girl athlete in the Senior Class. The Monogram Club, under the capable guidance of Coach Davies, had a successful year and looks forward to a promising future. 3 fl Bramaticra l!l1!U1' na? ,141 ,f f FIRSTROXN lefttortght A Hall D Myers Reporter M Healy Secretary R Owen Pres rdent ,I Rose 'xlrs Gray Sponsor P Hurley SECOND ROW R PaynL W Mrlby B Menzer G Taylor M Lewts G Kellar C R Vere S Davts Treasurer M Arlsworth A Wake Vrce Presldent R Roberts B Major THIRD ROW E Brown H Roane I Haynte E Brooks D Hogge P Revere H H111 I Blake R Ashburn J Woodard C Matthews I Sprtng E Payne H Segar F PFIDCE R Armstrong uni ur Q hh- I FIRST ROW left to rrght E Holt F Perklnson L Ward B Payne S Shores E Roberts M Follrard P Atlsworth T Mrller B Stewart M Parady SECOND ROW P Coulson B Verlanderl Armstrong E Harrow C Sadler P Dante' N Sears I Norton E Mllby V Nlenzer THIRD ROW B Lawson J Morgan A Taylor E Walker P Revere E Kee ly Colley V Crowe F Grove A Clarke D Frnney FOURTH ROW J Dunlevy J Lucas W Darnell I Crrttenden T Hogge S Lewrs H Blake E Powell Mrs Gray FIFTH ROW N Srbley B Wrlson J Stoddard B Parker B Vanlwame B Armstrong I Ward E Ruark C Mrller 1 1' , 1 N H H , A ' .
