GERALD L. HAYWORTH All of us have been or are a part of the school’s education field in which many seeds of various assortments have been sown in anticipation of a bumper crop. The school has sown the seeds for us hoping that we as a part of the crop will grow and add beauty, stature, and quality to the field. The crop is not finished growing at the end of the formal school years. There are bushels of growing yet to be done. There’s a whole lifetime of it. The seed has already been sown. --The cultivation is left for us.

The Board of Education of the Middlebury Community School is looking forward to educational progress and maintaining a policy of continual improvement of the educational facilities of your school. The members of this board who are appointed by the Middlebury Town Board and the Township Advisory Board serve at a job which requires an unselfish contribution of time and energy. The Middlebury School Board, representing the taxpayers of this community, is constantly working with the school administration to advance and further develop the educational opportunities offered to the students.

FRANK T. GOODE My faith in youth leads me to believe that the unlimited challenges of modem education will be met. Certainly these challenges will not be dispelled with ease, but sacrifice and hard work. Students of Middlebury High School have the choice of accepting or rejecting these challenges. Acceptance could open doors to new frontiers of knowledge for the student and society, but rejection could close these doors forever.
