CONCERT CHOIR The Concert Choir Is made up of twenty-five boys and thirty-three girls who are directed by Mrs. Saia. This was Mrs. Sala s first year at Middlebury and she has worked very hard trying to make the Choir a good one. The Choir sang for convocations on several occasions and participated in the Christmas pagaent. Several concerts were given by the Choir during the school year. On October 27, twenty-three Choir members took part in a chorus at North Central High School in South Bend under the direction of Or. Harry Wilson of Columbia University. CONCERTEENA CHOIR HOLD THAT ,C The Concerteena Choir is composed of 10 boys and nineteen girls. During the first semester, rehearsals were held during the third period on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Choir’s first public appearance was made at the Christmas pageant. Besides learning seasonal songs, they also memorized novelty numbers, such as, The Orchestra, and Clancy Lowered the Boom. Some periods were also spent listening to recordings, among which were Saint Saeus, Carnival of the Animals, and Beethoven's 5th Symphony. The Choif, under the direction of Mrs. Saia sang at several convocations. SIX TEENS The Six Teens are chosen from the freshman class every fourth year and appear as a vocal ensemble during their four high school years. They made their first public appearance in November. Working hard, they have prepared numbers for Christmas and winter appearances in school as well as in the community. This organization is indeed a great opportunity for these young high school students.

BAND The Band consists of 41 members of the high school and junior high school. We are very proud to have Mr. Vincent Stouder as our director. We have five seniors that are in the Band this year but the majority of the Band is very young. The Band has marched at basketball games and played for the public at some concerts. We try to please the community as much as we can and by doing this we become more and more skilled with our instruments. The high-light of the Band this year is the district and state contests. We hope to rank very high in each. Sponsored By SCOTT KINDY TV Goshen. Indiana
