s.o.s. THE STUDENTS SPEAK The Student Organized Society is a group that every student from grades 7-12 should take an interest in for it is with this group--the representatives we elect --that we can speak for what we want in our school. This year the S. O. S. has taken steps on improving our school. We have Chapel and Assembly Committees which arc in charge of all school programs and will help decide future programs. The Constitution of the S. O. S. was studied through by the Cabinet this year and various amendments proposed to the Society. We hope that the improved Constitution will be used more thoroughly in years to come and will provide a basis for a strong and active Student Organized Society. S.O.S. The main objective of this club is to seat persons at basketball games, but they are always ready to help wherever else they are needed. The service they give to our school is rewarded by free admission to basketball games and even a dinner on the school once in a while. HERE COMES THE CROWD” USHERS’ CLUB

CONCERTEENA CHOIR HOLD THAT ,C The Concerteena Choir is composed of 10 boys and nineteen girls. During the first semester, rehearsals were held during the third period on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Choir’s first public appearance was made at the Christmas pageant. Besides learning seasonal songs, they also memorized novelty numbers, such as, The Orchestra, and Clancy Lowered the Boom. Some periods were also spent listening to recordings, among which were Saint Saeus, Carnival of the Animals, and Beethoven's 5th Symphony. The Choif, under the direction of Mrs. Saia sang at several convocations. SIX TEENS The Six Teens are chosen from the freshman class every fourth year and appear as a vocal ensemble during their four high school years. They made their first public appearance in November. Working hard, they have prepared numbers for Christmas and winter appearances in school as well as in the community. This organization is indeed a great opportunity for these young high school students.
