If XS rr TO OUR UNDERCLASSIEN O Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, From this annual you'll derive The history of the Senior Class Of nineteen forty-five. We've placed within these pages Our photographs, and too Our final will, and all that we Have prophesied for you. Behold the honor students: And, as you read each name, Take inspiration. Hope and plan To rise, yourselves, to fame. As graduating Seniors, To you, for our Good-bye, We leave the old traditions Of Middlebury High. With these as guiding standards We know you'l1 have the powers To make all future classes be As great as this of ours. --Dick Gohn V--111 N l5'l 9 N X.. ..xxxw'.-k::- :!l'.'f- .-'K fff, X . .,.,XUxM!- '-f,,f,... if-,-,f Q X. -XVXXXNXX xx. Though rhyme and reason may be vague, Please do not be a scornerg It is with best intent that we Present our POSTS' CORNER. OUR CLASSES M. H. S. has seldom seen A class as happy as we have been! A class as lucky as we are, That made four years go so far Through many sad and piteous tears As did the Seniors of other years. But what class could you find more alive Than our Class of forty-five? There was Economics Class so sweet-- There we sat at Krider's feet And studied lessons day by day, Although we'd rather sit and play. When the bell was heard to ring, You next would find us in Typing, Typing letters the errorless way That Mrs. Walker hopes will stay. Now don't forget our Physics Class, That's one we really had to pass! Lessons hard and lessbzi' long, Which Mr. Shetler was known to prolong. But Journalism was another thing-- There we made the school house ring: And Miss Kyler thought it grand When our FOGMORN came out the best in the land. This little poem must some time end, Though we would like more time to spend In M. H. S., our school house dear. But now the time is drawing near That we must leave, and enter life Filled with so much toil and strlfeg So will our motto ever bex Launched but not anchored' out at sea. --Ju ior Keim .-- ,,,.- .-- ' --4-.ng-qv 4-1 .-...4.- , . . .. -anno- .vmx ,,,,,,.x , .. ,w,,,,,, ---1---.--.-.-.-. -an-410. . 1n ' - 4 v---N- vu-'Zn- --7717-in -F i'l ' H1lil --'-5, Q--'--N -,,.i,-,--.-...N TLV llf1if', I 'i 'f!f iFI fx il ii' 1 M- , VI I, , 15 l 1 51 m 'K 1 ' 'mx Q Nia I Nu!
