This, I thought, would be the answer to my problem of predicting for my classmates, so I sought out one of the oldest women in the camp. After giving her the names of the members of my class, this is what she told me we would be doing ten years hence: CAROLYN HESTER is working for the National Bank. She has met a New York banker and it seems to be love at first sight. She may marry him and move to New York. BOBBY PEOPLES is owner of the three theaters in Henderson now. He is still looking around for a wife! ANN ARRINGTON is the owner of a very successful art studio. She haspainted a well-known portrait of DOT FORT, who is a very famous movie star. PEGGY PUGH is now married and a successful housewife. BRENDA ROBINSON is half owner of Peoples Bank. She figures since she is in the family she might as well ont part of the bank. PEGGY ABBOTT is married to John Richard White, who is owner of several drug stores in town. SANDRA MOODY is in the People's family also. She and Brenda are kin on both sides of the family now. Between them I am sure Peoples Bank will stay in the family. HUNTER REAVIS is still a bachelor. He may soon move over in the Greystone Community, from what I hear after talking to Tootie. NANCY STAINBACK is doing fine living in the Middleburg Community with two sweet little children. PATPICIA MYRICK is a successful housewife and also is working as a secretary in Oxford. KAYE ROBERSON finally got her man, Sonny. She is running a thriving beauty shop in Greystone. SYLVIA EDWARDS is a secretary for her brother's garage in Middleburg. The boys keep finding things to go down there for. I don't know if . is to get the car fixed or to see Chick. MAC WILSON has finally married one of those Townsville girls. They now have six little red-headed Wilson's. JOHNNY WATKINS is now a world professional] ball Pie He and MARGARET VANN finally got hitched. I think they are going to try to raise their Ge ball team. They One made a pretty goed start. FRANCES ELLINGTON is a basketball coach for Dabney girls. She got that Rotor boy so she decided to coach for Dabney instead of Middleburg. And last of all she told me Bobby and I would have a new addition to our family, which would make five. But heavens, NO, I think she predicted some things wrong. So which of you can say we didn't try, _ There are more problems out of school than in, Or say we've known defeat. -. But we'll cope with them in prayer. For this is our last year at Middleburg High, As we think back over past years, And our friends we'll hold close to our hearts; Old memories will never die; But let us not forget our teachers dear, We'll remember long the things we did, For they played the greatest part.
