TENANT ONIN ATION ee N @NANTAN TANIA’ (ANITA TANT ANIA TONE NTONTANTON Gast Will And Cestament We the Class of 1949, in seventeen individual and distinct parts, being about to pass out of this sphere of education, in full possession of a crammed, - well-trained memory, and almost superhuman understanding, do make and publish this, our last will and testment, hereby revoking and making void all former wills or promises by us at any time heretofore made, or mayhap, carelessly spoken, one to the other, as the thoughtless wish of idle hour. And first we do direct that our funeral services shall be conducted by our friends and well-wishers, our principal and his all-wise and ever-com- petent faculty, who have been our guardians for so long, only asking, as the last injunction of the dying, that the funeral be carried on with all the dignity and pomp that our worth, our merit, our attainments, and our posi- tions as Seniors of “grave and reverend mien,” must certainly have deserv- ed. The following may seem but trifling bequests, but we hope they may be accepted not as worthless things, lavishly thrown away because we can no longer keep them, but as assets to those who may receive them, and a continual reminder of the generosity of heart displayed in our free and full bestowal. To Mrs. McColl, the profound admiration and everenduring friend- ship of the Class of 1949. To Mr. Young, our math manuals hoping he’ll get a chance to chech them during the summer. To Miss White, a quiet seventh period study hall. To Miss Rudd a complete new history class. To Mr. Blum, the boys have the wish that his next senior class will be as smart as they were. James Watkins leaves his ability to giggle to Mary Sue Moore, since she is so quiet at all times. Martha King leaves her conceited nature to Ferebee Fletcher. Joyce Wright leaves her ability to get a man to Peggy Breedlove. Betty Jane Kearson leaves her ability to keep a secret to Jean Finch. Anne Spain leaves fifty pounds of her excess weight to Ann Best.
