The school campus has been moved into the suburbs. There are fine buildings on the campus. The school is under the able direction of Principal Billy Boykin and Virgie Hendricks is chief dietitian of the cafeteria staff. Several new teachers were added to the faculty this term. Director of the Dramatics Dept., Miss Betty Neuresthenia Fort will present her final production next week. It looks as if the diamonds those Senior girls were sporting really paid off. Daisy and Belle are doing their part to populate the city and are still finding time to carry on outside activities. Daisy is President of the P. T. A. and Belle holds daily classes for the school bus drivers. The last of our Seniors is Juliarene Watkins. Juliarene is still at W. C. Keep plugging, Juicy, we know you'll] graduate yet. Yes, the Seniors of '47 have taken over, and they're doing a swell job! Seriously, I'm sure the class will do a good job. e credit to their school. Wish them luck--- they'll] need it! i he OWS )itp and Clee eaiiierit We, the Senior Class of 1947, do make, publish, and declare this will and testament. To the faculty, we bequeath our grateful appreciation for a task well done. To the incoming Freshmen, we leave some of the beams of our radiant faces so there will be some brightness in the school. To the Sophomore, Junior and Senior Classes of 1947 we bequeath our ability to learn. Tom Edwards would like to leave Hallie Lassiter but finds it impossible. C. W. Poythress wishes to leave his ability to sing to Dennis Lloyd. Billy Boykin wishes to leave his dramatic ability to Walter White. Marvin Breedlove and Archie Reavis would just like to leave. Jean Floyd leaves her half-holiday to anyone lucky enough to get it. Juliarene Watkins leaves to Ann Kearson and Ruth Fletcher, who are so serious and solemn on all occasions, her giggles to remember her by. Billy Brothers wills his comb to Wallace White. C. W. Poythress leaves his politeness to 0. M. Abbott. Betty Macon Fort wishes to leave her long hair to Hallie Lassiter. Belle Fleming wills her vim, vigor and vitality to Edna Poythress. To Ruth Fletcher, Daisy Brame leaves her ability to love only one man. To Sherene Breland and Maurice Fleming, Daisy Brame leaves her spirit to accompany them on their walks around the school building. To Ann Kearson, Jean Floyd leaves her basketball suit and her ability to control her temper while playing. To Anne Reavis, Belle Fleming leaves her brilliance and knowledge, knowing full well that she has need of them. Wilbur Williamson leaves his quiet ways to 0. M. Abbott. Ella Mae Curtis leaves to Edith Cobb her naturally curly hair. Othela Edwards leaves her glasses to Robert Burdick hoping that he will be able to see things clearer in the future. Virgie Hendricks leaves to Wallace White her neat ways. J. W. Moody leaves his wicked eye to Dennis Lloyd. Belle Fleming and Juliarene Watkins leave to Dennis Lloyd and Allan Van Johnson Faulkner their ability to chew chewing gum in Miss Pritchard's study hall. To Hallie Lassiter, Juliarene Watkins leaves her flirtatious ways hoping that she will have as many beaux as she has had. To Frank Best, who has been in school so long, we leave the school.
