CLASS PROPHECY Comfmuecl mous World Trotters professnonal basketball players nm havmg traveled around qunte a b1t knew the locatxon of some of the class that Gus could not remember 1m sand that Donna Angrone was now one of the greatest roller derby stars 1n the world today and the manager of the roller derby IS none other than Ronme ohnson Donna was xnjured nn one of the games and was rushed to the hos pntal where we found Nancy Lewxs as head nurse 1m went on to say that Myrna Mears a qunte popular glrl nn our class was now a mrs slonary rn Chma Another classmate 1n Chlna IS Dave Gtbson who rs now called General Glbson Next we swmg to England where we fmd VlFglHla Chamberlam gnvmg her perform ance as a trapeze artnst before the Queen Then a jump across the ocean to Wash1ngton to the capntol where we fmd Dave Swanson as Secre tary of Agrxculture Whlle ln Washlngton we ran across Ralph Clnne who was attending the conventxon for spaghettn eaters We swntched back to New York where we found IoAnn Pepper as one of the Powers models Then a qunck r1de to Florlda where we fmd Carol Swanberry sunnnng at one of her resorts An other classmate rn Florxda IS Vxctor Van Voorhns now addressed as Reverend Van Voorhxs An know qulte well IS Charlme Puckett present owner of all the Nlckles Bakery stores After Vlsltlllg rn Florida we catch a plane and fly over to Alaska where we fmd Norma Pettmger earnestly trymg to sell refrrgerators to the Es knmos Whlle there we ran 1nto Donald Dysle who was try1ng to teach Wnllxe the Penguxn how to smoke Camels We decxded to go for a slengh rlde before returnnng to our plane and who do we fmd drnvmg rt but Wnllard Hatha way who has gnven up hot rod racmg to drrve a husky team After our rnde we started back to the plane and when we boarded we found four of our former classmates Kenny Kreger Alex Sedon john Ramnern and Bob Darst all attnred rn the Navy blue Smce ames Senter our class presndent had mvented a plane that flres even faster than the jet nt made xt possible for the boys to fly to the Umted States on week end passes Back we are agam m the U S only to travel over to Calrforma where Grace Denny and Roy Taylor are starring rn M G Ms Cold Cold Feet Whlle at M G M who should we fmd as Mr MGMS secretary but Mary Ann Brower jim suddenly got an urge to go horse back rndmg so we went to the MF Rldlng Academy and found Molly Frase as the owner Molly sand we mnght drop over to v1s1t one of Calxfornlas larger forest parks where Grace Page 7 Kemp IS employed as head forest ranger Back to the hotel we came to pack our clothes to travel on to another town when we saw a large group of women who looked quxte famlllar After mqu1r1ng we found out lt was the Na tronal Housewnves Assoclatron and lf seems that Beverly Bentz rs presldent whnle Dolores Cr1sl1p and annce Blake hold the offnces of secretary and treasurer respectnvely We bade these young women adxeu and agam started to our rooms to pack for our homeward journey hm found out ln the meantlme that there was a ballet performance bemg grven m the ball room and Rosemary Haynes was starrmg IH the ballet We went backstage to v1s1t her after the performance and she mtroduced us to her crew of workers Carol Chenot was her specral haxr stylrst Sharlene Genger ped1cur1st Daun Chrlst man prnvate secretary Shxrley Groom dress de sngner and Chuck Ruffle her publncrty agent At last we boarded the plane and got started on our way home It was a very pleasant trxp home for Roland Welsel was at the controls of the plane and Shrrley Beard and joan Styer were the two charmmg arrlme hostesses We were mformed by Shirley that the plane was bemg grounded due to adverse weather condn txons whnch was relayed to the prlot by the world famous weather reporters Cmdy Karns and Ann Maver The weather had cleared up and we boarded the plane agam only to have added two more passengers Beverly Humbert who modeled her famous flngernalls on televlslon and oan Sny der who created speclal nall polnsh just for Beverly We told her there were just four class mates that we d1d not know of the1r where abouts Bemg the travelmg type Beverly m formed us that Bob Qunllen was now modelmg his curly black hanr for Tom She also sand that Bull Immel and jack Mann had jomed together and purchased WllllamS Bar and all of thelr dishes and glassware had come from juamta Klkos Kntchen Queen We went back over the lnst just to make sure that we hadn t mnssed anyone By that tnme we had landed at the arrport m Mnddlebranch My taxx was there wartmg for me to take me and my tired feet home I thanked Gus and jnm and told them I would just forget about the party for I needed the tnme to get rested up I b1d them goodbye and got m the taxr and closed my eyes and began to wonder what my class mates would be domg m about ten years from now I v , . .
