CALENDAR 5 Jan. 19 - We played jackson here and lost by the score .of 42-24. -X' f Vw, We had assembly to- ? day and Dr. Howard Lowery, President of Wooster College, was the speaker. . Jan. 20-We played St. John and lost again by the score of 54-24. X Jan. 23-We played Canton Township and lost by the score of 60-24. jan. 25-Report cards came out today. Jan. 27-We played Greentown and lost .rdf J jj ' Z 4 f li by the score of 61-27. Jan. 29-Mid-Hi News came out today. The build- ing was cold all day, No more school until a supply of coal is brought in. Sophomores had a party for Lee Stockburger. FEBRUARY Feb. 2--We played Uniontown and lost Kas usualj. Feb. 3-We played Marlboro and lost by the score of 39-37. Feb. 5-No school because of the coal shortage. Feb. 6-We played at Navarre and lost fI'd be dis- appointed if we did.n't losej by the score of 55-24. School started again and we have to catch up on 13 days of school. Feb. 7-Mrs. DeWitt of Mt. Union College gave us a sales talk. Feb. 9-We played at jackson Township and lost by the score of 48-38. Feb. 10-The East Canton game is the last game and we lost by the score of 55-27. Feb. 12-This is Lincoln's Birthday. This is Boy Scout Week. Feb. I4-The Valentine's Day assembly was given by the Se.niors. There was also a pep rally and an annual assembly. The Seniors had conces- sions at Massillon at the Tournament, and don't faint, we won 11 game. We beat Uniontown by the score of 33-32. Feb. 15-Everyone looks so drowsy and tired. We played Beach City and lost. - Feb. 19-Boys' basketball tournament began today nt noon. Feb. 20 - The music ' , classes have been prac- f f X X f y tieing for the Spring , , Musical. f f f Feb. 21 -This is Girl Re- ' X serve Week. It's rain- ! ing. Feb. 22-It is Washing- !! ton's Birthday. Lorie . Venditti visited us to- day. We were glad to V. ' see you, Lorie. f M fi f X ' - 1 ff f' ' , Feb. 26---The Student C o u n e il has been ---, around for money for new records. Feb. 27-Students were chosen for teachers For Student Dar. ? ' A15 Feb. 28-Today was Student's Day. Marge Feller was superintendent and Ione Burley was principal. Boy are the roads ever slippery. P. T. A. was postponed. MARCH March 2-Miss Malone has pneumonia and now we have another new teacher, Mrs. Eutzley. March 6-The Red Cross drive opened today. March 7-The Athletic Banquet was held tonight. March 9-Today.report cards were passed out again. My, how time flies. Tomorrow some of the intellcctual ones in our class will take the Gen- eral Scholarship Tests. March 12-The photographers were here again and finished taking the pictures. The Girl Reserves had a nice program today. tryouts for the Senior Play. March 13-There were Senior play tryouts again today. The name of the play is That Crazy Smith Family. March 14-The cast for the play has been chosen. The P. T. A. sponsored the Tuberculin tests that the Juniors and Seniors took. It did not even hurt. March 16-The Girl Reserves had Date Night. March 19--The auditorium and other parts of the school were opened to the community for recrea- tion. Recreation will be held every Monday night. Miss Rodgers had 9,94 March 20-There was 0 ' chapel and Dr. Maili- cg Q ews was the speaker. is March 21-Today is the first day of spring and f it snowed. ff March 24--There was a , dance sponsored by X, ' Student Council. March 294Rev. Barker was the speaker for the Easter Chapel. Sl The Mid-Hi News came out again. 2 if 390 9! n I March 150-April 2- This is Easter vacation. Did you see the Easter Bunny? APRIL April 6-A dress rehearsal of the play was held today. April 7- That Crazy Smith Family was a success. April I4-P. T. A. held their carnival. April 16 -Chapel was held today and Rev. Rafeld was the speaker. April 19 April 20 4Report cards again. The Juniors had a class party.
