A Learning Experience 1. Lois Bennett fights for the ball. 2. Peter Seehagen, an exchange student from Sweden, was the only JV player to score for the Varsity. 3. Midfielder Derrek Thomas passes the ball. 4. Fullback Mike Zane clears the ball. 5. JV Soccer Front Row: Jude Woolston, Peter Seehagen, Jen Jones, Eddie Moore, Pat Keen, Scott Newbold. JV Field Hockey added four fresh- men to the team this year, finishing the season triumphantly. Only Mi- chelle Pepper had played on a team before, but the rest learned from ex- perience. The team had a record of two wins, five losses, five ties, and a league record of two wins, four losses, and five ties. The leading scorer for the team this year was freshman Mi- chelle Pepper. With these scores, the team went to the State Tournament and played a great game, but was defeated in the first round. There were many great play- ers on the team this year. Allison Schmid, and Lisa Swecker both made the Cape May County All-Star Team. Michelle Eisiminger made lst Cape-Atlantic League All-Star Team, and Melodie Porch, JJ Picker- ing, Allison Schmid, and Kim Lea- vitt made 2nd team. Allison Schmid also made Courier Post All South Jersey 2nd Team. Great job, hockey players! l 71
