The Reckless The Warrior Bryan Adams brought his Into the Fire tour to Murphy Center as the final concert of the spring semester. Adams driving style had the near sellout crowd on the edge of their seats throughout the concert. Familiar songs like It s Only Love and This Time were heard along with new songs such as Victim of Love and Heat of the Night. The concert came to an end with the singing of Summer of 69 in the second encore. Patti Smythe. former lead singer of Scandal, opened for Adams. She belted out her new songs, includ- mg Never Enough, and old Scan- dal tunes like Warrior. Left: Pattie Smythe jolted the crown with her forceful rendition of the Warrior. The Murfreesboro Street Fair This may have been the biggest crowd yet. These flag dancers are from Poland, the first country from behind the Iron Curtain to participate in the Street Fair.
