Faculty And Board Of Education Help Students Help Themselves Our faculty consists of 34 teachers and 3 administrators. Additions to the teaching staff include special education, a librarian for the entire school system, and a counselor for grades seven through twelve. Eight of the 37 certified per- sonnel have their masters degree, and others are working toward their masters degree. Teaching experience varies from seven, who have taught 29 yearsg and nine, who have taught in an excess of 15 years. A group of 16 of those teachers are working in one of the most modern elementary school programs in north Missouri. This pro- gram is designed to help the individual student progress at a rate suitable to himself rather than a group. Studies verify that most students have greatly improved in the achievement rate. This program is carried on in the junior high school enabling students capable of pro- gressing at a more rapid rate to gain more knowledge through the school year. Those students capable of achiev- ing at a slower rate are provided the opportunity to gain more knowledge than they would have been in a regular classroom situation.
