Junior High asketball The eighth grade boys had a good season with the record of seven wins and five losses. The boys won second place in the Mid-Buchanan junior High tour- nament. The team consisted of Richard Stanton, Virgil Babcock, Perry Miller, Randy Rumpf, jeff Caton, Mike Jennings, Kenton Morgan, Brett Ras- co, Tom Powell, Keith Halter, Kevin George, Gene Ritcheart, and Bruce Baker. The seventh grade boys' team had a record of one win and seven losses. The team was made up of jackie Atkison, Mark Blakely, Randy Majeski, Mark McDonald, Darrell Moppin, Dewayne Wood, Ricky Glora, Craig Elder, Mike Freeden, Rodney Rumpf, Curtis Kealsey, Eddie Farris. The eighth grade 'girls had a record of three wins and five losses. They won third place in the Mid- Buchanan junior High tournament. Their team con- sisted of Susan Smiley, jammie Singleton, Susan Krumme, Martha Stevenson, Sherry Travis, jackie Zigler, Annette Pepper, Alma Wuiest, Kim Kelsey, Sandy McDauley, Gale Hollingsworth, Carol Swope, Tammy Conger. The seventh grade girls' team had a record of one win, five losses. Their team was made up of Mary Byrne, Cheryl McCauley, Debbie Delaney, Debbie Wyatt, Lori Stanton, Tammy Pankau, Karen Du- gan, Tammy Slabaugh, Sally Anderson, Pam Hazel- wood, jennifer Waller, Sandy Farris and Alma Wuest. Junior High Football And Track The junior High edition of the Dragon Football team was made up of both a seventh and eighth grade team. The seventh grade team was made up of Brian Curran, Mark Blakely, Sonny My- ers, Mark McDowell, Richard Dennis, Dewayne Wood, Darrell Moppin, jackie Atkinson, Rodney Rumpf, Eddie Farris, Mike Frieden, jerry Anderson, Rodney Matthews, Craig Elder, Ricky Flora, and Bill Burns. Junior High Activities Junior high chorus made up of 7th and Sth grader students has a total of fifty members. This year they participated in the Annual Christmas and Spring Program. There are ten band members and Mr. jack Donaldson is the director of all chorus and band activities. The Pep club and cheerlead- ers, under the supervision of Cheryl Kemp, were very willing in supporting their teams. if swf Q W1
