X l TRACK TEAM UTILIZES CENTURION II IN PRE-SEAS N Going into its second season at our college, the outlook for track is encouraging. The squad has grown from the handful last year to just over 30 men and women. Coach Gor- don DeGraffenreid intends to have at least one entry in each event, which the larger squad should allow. According to Coach DeGraffenreid, the cross-country team should provide the nucleus of the track team. Returning track lettermen Jim Coburn and Gary Ringhiser are two cross-country runners that should place consistently well. The distance events definately appear strong at this pre-season writing with five runners as Doug Philip, another cross- country letterman, will contribute also. Pam Bridgewater and Nan Wyrick are the returning letterwomen. Pam is a sophomore and runs mainly the 400 meters. Nan does field events and is a junior.
