Led by Campus Republic President Joe Knight, governmental activities included a presidential exchange with Bethany Nazarene College, the Olathe Outreach Program, changes in various intergovernmental structures, an increased social and cultural program, along with assisting the administration in accreditation procedures. Congress Makes Important Decisions Congress is the law-making body of our Campus Re- public. It consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. They work together to make laws. The members are selected by the student body, faculty, and administration. Congress is also responsible for the selection of the Trail- blazer and Conestoga editors. Each member of Congress also belongs to a committee. The Senate and House of Rep- resentatives meet each week and special joint sessions of Congress are called by the President of the Campus Repub- lic.
