November ZZ Yea! School's out for Thanksgiving vacation? The Sunshine Society is having a Mixer at the Community Hall, November 23. November Z6 Seniors had play practice again today. November Z7 We played Western tonight. The Ganders won again in an over-time game. Score 40 - 38. November 2.8 Not much happened today. November Z9 Mr. Zaley and the band went to Young America for a concert today. November 30 Michigantown played Jackson on their floor. It's another victory for us. Score 68 - 52. ' December 3 r Junior Nance broke his leg while practicing basketball. Seniors had play practice at 6:30 p. m. December 4 Seniors had play practice third and fourth periods. December 5 Seniors had dress rehearsal at night. December 6 Seniors gave matinee of their play The Boarding House Reach this afternoon. December 7 Second night of the play. We're surely glad that is overg we had a lot of fun working on it though. T December 10 Hurrah! The school building is on fire. No, it was just another fire drill. December ll y Today is class meeting clay. Seniors voted to graduate in caps and gowns. December 12 Ball game with Kirklin, as usual we won, the score was 33 - Z8. Sunshine Society had a meeting today at noon. December 14 , Today the school building is so cold that it seems as if we are living in the Artic Region December 15 Kirklin Tourney. Ganders out ahead again! December 17 Basketball boys are celebrating today after winning the Kirklin Tourney. We are certainly proud of the 1951-52 Ganders. December 18 There is no school todayf since the weather is too bad. December 19 Back to the old grind again, but it is still very cold. We were to play Rossville tonight, but the weather didn't permit the game. December 20 The Sunshine Society was to hold its Mother and Daughter Banquet tonight, but it was cancelled. December Z1 No school today, weather did not permit the band and chorus concert either! Senior pictures arrived today from Smith's Studio. Christmas vacation was to start at noon today. December 31 Back to school today-after a well deserved vacation. January l Boy, we surely are sleepy, but most of us made it to school. We can catch up on our sleep this afternoon since we get out at noon.

October 16 Class meetings today. Seniors chose committees for annual. October 17 School was dismissed again today at noon. October 18 Morris Fausett was chosen to represent Michigantown in the All-Star game to be played at the Kirklin gyrn. October 19 Phyllis Kelly, Sarah Newell, and Karen Smith were chosen as yell leaders. Sophomores held a swimming party at the Kokomo Y.M.C.A. pool. October ZZ Had a drawing for seasonal basketball tickets. Report cards came out today. October Z3 Class meeting today. October Z4 The speech class gave a United Nations' Day program. October 25 Hurrah, schoo1's out for teachers' institute! October Z9 Received individual pictures from the National Studio today. October 30 A11-Star game at Kirklin tonight. Seniors pass out play books today. Sunshine Society held its monthly meeting, also. October 31 Keep on your guard. ' The witches are on the march today. November 1 Had a movie and then yell practice. November Z Tonight basketball season opens. We play Jefferson. Ganders are off to a good start, the score was 49 - 33. p November 5 Seniors chose some of the play-cast. November 6 Class meetings today. Seniors chose the rest of the characters for the play. November 7 The Sunshine had a meeting today. November 8 Now start dodging the Sophomoresg they're selling hats this time. November 9 Second basketball game of the season. We played Mulberry. Another victory for the Ganders! Score 41 .- 372 November 12 A representative of Smith's Studio from Attica was here to take individual Senior pictures. Starting today, we will dismiss school at 3:15 p.m. November 13 A Class meetings again today. November 14 Seniors had play practice during the first two periods this morning. November 16 Speech class put on a Mock Radio Program this afternoon. Everybody is feeling rather sad, because we played Forest and lost, 40 - 53. November 17 Seniors held a swimming party at the Kokomo Y.M.C.A. pool. Only a few attended. November 19 Seniors had 'play practice this' afternoon. ' November Z0 The proofs came today for individual Senior pictures. 'Firel Fire! Don't get alarmed ' it's just a fire drill. November Z1 ' ' Ball game tonight. Another victory, Ganders beat Burlington 51 - 39.

January Z We were to play Jefferson tonight, but the game was postponed until January 9th, January 3 Some of the annual committees are to meet at Sarah Crist's to work on the annual January 4 Michigantown vs. Mulberry. Oh!! we got beat 47-55. January 7 Starting a new week of studying. Not much happening. January 8 The Freshmen received class sweaters today. They will almost put your eyes out to look at them. They are red with white letters. January 9 Michigantown vs. Jefferson. Ganders are back on top again. The score 49-Z6. We had the television on to see Mr. Truman's speech. January 10 Smith's Studio returned today to finish taking the pictures for the annual. January ll - Hurrah for the Ganders! We played Cutler and beat them 76-34. January 14 A representative from the E. R. Moore Company came today to show us caps and gowns. It was decided that the boys wear blue and the girls wear white with com- bination blue and white tassels. January 15 Junior Nance is back with us again. We are very glad to have him back. January 16 The semester tests started today: January 17 The rest of semester tests were given today. January 18 We played Scircleville. Another victory for the Ganders. The score 50-38. January ZZ Class meetings today. The girls were measured for caps and gowns activity period. January Z4 What was that trick? ? ? There was a magician entertaining us today. After he left, the fourth period, we had yell practice. Then we resumed our regular schedule. January Z5 We get out at 11:00 o'c1ock, tourney this afternoon. The Ganders met with the Crickets at night - the Crickets came out ahead. January Z9 Class meetings today. January 30 School nurse here checking teeth and tonsils. January 31 Annual staff meeting at school building. February 1 Ganders vs. Cardinals - after a slow start we came out ahead. The score 61-55. February Z A Junior High tourney held at Forest. ' February 5 Scholarship tests were given today. Seniors have a skating party tonight. February 6 Annual meeting at school building. February 7 ' The Ganders played Forest at Howard Hall. February 8 The basketball boys had a swimming party at Kokomo Y.M.C.A. pool. Feburary 13 Ganders meet with Rossville tonight. - February 14 The Sunshine Society Mother and Daughter banquet is tonight.
