CHORUS The Soo Tech Chorus had a larger membership this year than in most pre- vious years, Under the direction of Mr. joseph Dieke, the chorus gave creditable performances before the public several times during the year. They also were a vital part of the musical, Good News presented by students of Tech, BAND In its second year of existence the Soo Tech Stage Band showed a tremendous im- provement. It is hoped that in the future, this book will bring back memories of the entire year. For those leaving this year, it was a year of progress with the addition of the first new building and the end of the first lap of college. COMPASS Students at Tech eagerly await the publica- tion of each new issue of the school news- paper, the compass. The Compass is a mem ber of the Michigan-Collegiate Press Associa- tion. Under the leadership of Mrs. Howe and editors Bob Calverly and George Ewing, the Compass consistently gives students conscien- tious, unbiased editorials and features.
